The JDFR Cardano stake pool

Description

This stack pool was created as an effort to participate in the development of a more decentralized generation of services on internet.

It is built based on the technical best practices recommended by the cardano team:

Both servers are hosted in a datacenter located in France, and operated by OVH (one of the biggest hosting services provider in France).

Who is the maintener ?

I am a software developper, and system administrator for approximately 20 years. In that time, I have been hosting various services, notably mail servers, and private cloud-like services.

I am a militant of a decentralized internet, so I got very interested in the bitcoin technology when it arrose.
But I also happen to be concerned by environmental aspects. And on this aspect, bitcoin is a disaster, due mostly to its proof of work consensus strategy, that basically means that the security of the network is proportionnal to its energy consumption (sorry for the very quick shortcut).
Cardano does not suffer from that problem.

So it sounds like a logical move for me to join the force and contribute to the development of this project.

My commitements, as a maintener

Be a good citizen in the cardano world

By this, I mean

Be a good citizen in the real world

As I strongly believe technology should be used to support real life and not the opposit, I commit to transfer at leat 50% of the earnings that may come from managing this stack pool to two non governmental organization:

(note that at the time of this writing, I have no idea whether the rewards will even cover the server fees)

How to contact me ?
